The client has purchased the plot of land with the benefit of an existing planning permission and came to Pier Architecture with the sole aim of producing technical design information capable of being used for obtaining a Building Regulation certificate, tenders and construction.
What we did:
Pier Architecture not only fullfilled the brief by producing the technical drawings, but also used their extensive experience to advise the Client on all the outstanding planning and CIL matters to ensure the soon to lapse planning permission was acted on before it was too late. In addition Pier Architecture were able to produce the necessary information, lodge and manage the discharge of condition application, the CIL exemption application saving the Client nearly £10,000 as well as enter into negotiations with adjacent land owners regarding the ability to cross their land for drainage reasons.
